We did some work with mol/mol stoichiometry today after you completed the solvay process assignment. If time permits... We start going through several theory topics from this unit. Law of Conservation of mass, coordinate covalent bonds and resonance structures,exceptions to the octet rule, sigma and pi bonding intermolecular forces(van derwaals forces), polar/non-polar, network solids

You will work on the independent assignment. Today you will work on 11.3 with a partner, then continue on with the other part of the independent assignment. The assignment is due on the 26th, and the 25th for bonus sign-off. Test on Unit 4 on May 26.
Test next Wednesday May 18 on Unit 5 We will start unit 4 in the meantime. You will spend Thursday and friday on this then review in groups on Tuesday of next week. Next Thursday and Friday will be spent on Unit 4 assignment.
